2013 has taught me so much. I’ve learned to be more independent, to live for myself and not for anybody else. I’ve learned to value my family and my true friends more. The cherry on top of an amazing year is that I’ve found real and unconditional love.

I can’t wait to see what 2014 has in store for me.

I hope you all had a great year! 🙂

neck candy

[sunglasses: mango, necklace, top: h&m, bag: pucci, pants: thrifted, heels: zara]

Here’s what I wore to work on a casual Thursday. You don’t have to look boring in jeans and a tank top. Add a few fun pieces and voila!

I swear I was set to buy a huge, tacky, kitschy, offensive jewel necklace and I can’t believe I found it in Hong Kong!!!!!!

Photos from my Hong Kong trip coming up 🙂

My pants from Romwe finally arrived!! I thought these would feel hot because it’s knit, but it’s surprisingly easy breezy. Makes me feel like I’m wearing Missoni. Haha!

When I was still in school, I hated wearing pants. In Ilocos, girls’ day to day outfits consist of jeans, a baby tee, and a pair of slippers. I felt like pants were the uniform for conformists.

Pants eventually grew on me 😉

Check out this adorable layered necklace from Sugar Kissed.

My mom’s inability to keep track of her bags is both a curse and a blessing for me. Check out this Celine backpack I found in her closet!

break it off

Rainy days mean more chances for layering!

I found this old top thingy I got from Red Dot years ago. I thought of turning it into some sort of parka thing for rainy days. Haha. Sorry it sounds so dumb but I’m really just not sure what to call it. LOL. It’s made up of the same fabric they use for parkas but without the padding and the weight.

These clogs go with everything I own!! They’re so light weight too. Still going gaga over them. It’s also available in nude, get yours at http://www.shopreddot.ph

summer is where the girls go barefoot and their hearts are just as free as their toes

Welcome to the weekend that never ends

Lala, my childhood buddy and best friend for the longest time moved to Australia when we were 11. I’ve only seen her twice ever since. D, La, her boyfriend and I drove all the way to Pagudpud for the weekend. This is hands down one of the best weekends I’ve had so far.

Underwater photo madness!!!! Borrowed my cousin Sam’s camera and now I think I want one…
[kimono: zuz clothing, top: plains and prints, sunglasses: mango, shorts: topshop]
Lovin’ my blue kimono from Zuz, this is my favorite print among the three robes the lovely ladies from Zuz gave me 🙂
We dropped by La’s framily’s beach house in Burgos where her relatives were having a picnic only to end up swimming some more! Spontaneous trips are the best 🙂
Ended the day at Tayamens for some isaw and kikiam!
Hope you guys are having an awesome summer!!

would you go along with someone like me? 4/7

Here’s my fourth entry for Red Dot’s 7/7 Challenge. Scarves make a really fun belt to cinch the waist.

Got this funky collar from Sugar Kissed as part of their latest collection. This is my first detachable collar,  I’ve always thought it seemed too sweet for my style, but of course Sugar Kissed made it edgy with pyramids!

[collar: sugar kissed, sunglasses: mango, blue scarf worn as a top: red dot, pink scarf worn as a belt: red dot, trousers: thrifted, shell purse: thrifted, gold bangle: extreme finds, platforms: forever 21]

My cute playmate in the office, Max. So gwapo and so smart too. I’ve already taught him how to call my co worker “Ajo Bading”. Haha. My boss is going to kill me.

not another maxi skirt

[top: thrifted, necklace: sugar kissed, earrings: gift from a friend, skirt, pyramid cuffs: red dot, silver pyramid cuff, aviators: mango, rings: love loca, gold cuff: gift from a friend, watch: thrifted, clutch: louis vuitton, wedges: das]

You guys are probably sick of my maxi skirts, but I just can’t help it. It works so well with the weather here in Ilocos 🙂

Gotta love my DAS wedges ^_^

My date for the day… My little brother

skip the charades

[aviators: mango, lipstick: mac’s ruby woo, sheer leopard top: incez axe, mom shorts: thrifted, skinny belt: dorothy perkins, earrings: forever 21, drawstring bag: louis vuitton, clogs]

This is what I wore for a shopping date with  my girlfriends. I want more sheer button down tops like this leopard one I got from Shop Incez Axe.

I would’ve taken a better angle of the church but this was the only area with enough sunlight for usable photos.

D and I had cheesecake today at Cheesecake etc. I love my weekly lunch dates with D, aside from the usual run-in’s at Shop & Go, this is the only time we really get to hang out.

She’s always in my posts but today for a change, let me show you what she’s wearing =D

We were having WAY too much fun with our frilly skirts, I know. Hahah.
