[jacket: the ramp, top: topshop, pants: romwe, bag: topshop, heels: rajo for parisian]
Living in the more tropical side of the Philippines, I could not wait to go back to LA while it’s still cold so I could layer it up with some jackets and tights and boots and wear faux fur. Haha!! I’ve always known Los Angeles had the most ideal weather in the country but boy did I take this cold for granted!! I don’t remember it being this cold when I was in highschool, or maybe that’s because I was always in my uniform and that I got here during summer time while it was still hot and I adjusted better with the changing seasons o_0 Now I seriously don’t have enough clothes for this weather! I had to change into a sweater before meeting my friend downtown.

I got these shirts from the lovely ladies of Sexy White Shirt. It’s from their new line, love the pockets! I am crazy for basic clothes because I am very into bold accessories. I spend more on basic tops and shorts than I do with fancier things… You can always dress them up or down and with the right styling, they are guaranteed to look different every time!

I love that they used white stitching on the gray one. Thanks Sexy White Shirt! =)

First night I took my gf2 out! Went on a date with my little brother Brandon, then met up with the boyfriend for some strawberries dipped in whipped cream. I’m so satisfied with my new camera, it fits in my purse and it takes such nice pictures. I was honestly scared at first that it might suck for night pictures especially since I haven’t mastered adjusting the settings yet but I was definitely wrong. The Intelligent Auto function is pretty dependable too. Its just what I need. I wish I can buy an external flash to go with it and another lens, maybe the 14-42mm.
Whenever I’m short on budget and I feel like I need a wardrobe make over, I tend to spend my money on things that can really change an otherwise simple and boring outfit like accessories or cover ups. This vest for example that I got from ZOO, it adds a little oomph to your everyday jeans and shirt, or you can wear it with that old bondage dress you’ve had lying around since the whole Herve Leger trend started dying out and match it with a pair of flats to make it wearable during the day.

My outfit is THE picture of “high-end-low-end-mix-and-matching”. I got the top from a thrift store for less than 100 pesos and I think it used to be the half of a Maria Clara. I got my skirt from the Robinson’s department store for around 300 pesos, my belt from Gliteratti and my black ribbon bracelet from Forever 21. The Chanel bag as well as the Hermes bangles I’m wearing are my mom’s. My shoes are only 1000 pesos from SM department store. See, you don’t have to wear designer labels from head to toe to look good =)
Jojami’s baby girl celebrated her 1st birthday at Fort Ilocandia’s ballroom. It’s hard to plan a party for children where adults can have just as much fun, but Jojami always does this with such ease…=)
I’ve always wanted to try the red lips and always pondered if I should buy whenever I’m at MAC, but I’ve always been so scared of it. A few days back I saw one from Revlon and asked my mom to buy me the Ruby shade. I’ve been rocking the puta red lips the whole week, I’m now officially hooked! Hahah
