drool worthy: mini pashli

fall in la

There’s no place more perfect for transitional dressing than California. Despite the bipolar weather all year round (annoyingly hot one minute, disturbingly cold the next), I love fall in LA because it’s always acceptable to wear sweaters, boots and..yes, bare legs ♥
 mini pashli
But that’s not what this post is about, it’s about my long time obsession with the  3.1 Phillip Lim’s mini pashli. I can only buy one and I haven’t decided if I want the red or the black. I’m leaning towards the black more though because black just never gets old and is wearable throughout the changing seasons.
What are you guys obsessing about?

fauxchella: get your desert chic on!

Yes, we’re grilling up a good time!

The Ilocos Dunes is the only natural desert in the entire Philippines, I can’t stress that enough. It’s one of my favorite places ever and it has always been an inspiration to most of my outfits and other kaartehan. Hahah.

This February 11, feel the Coachella vibe: get your desert chic on 🙂 We’re going to make our very own festival in the desert! The competition will end with a small get together, a way for LEAD Movement and our co presentors to thank everyone who made the event possible. Sports, good music, food, drinks, friends, fashion all rolled up in one event. Leave all the negative energy behind and come have fun with us at the dunes. We promise you nothing but a good time.

I may be required to wear my uniform but I’m free to imagine what I could be wearing :p

shiny, shimmering, splendid

black and gold
I’ve been looking for a gold dress everywhere, I don’t even care if it has sleeves or not I just want a loose gold dress. Maybe it’s that pesky festive holiday air… Don’t you ladies just love this one by Diane von Furstenberg?
Most girls are afraid of metallic clothes because clothing in gold or silver are mostly if not always worn for dressed up events. With the right accessories like combat boots or even a quirky pair of sneakers, anyone can pull off a metallic dress for day or for work even and not just for parties.
