I finally did it. My hair is now 50 shades of purple and I love it!!! Since I already bleached my hair, I think I will stay with light shades for now.

For the past week, Los Angeles has been stuck with this unbearable heat. This romper is pppppppeeeeeeerfect for mindless dressing during hot summer days (yes in LA, October is warmer than June or July). The print reminds me of the dresses my mom would make me wear in the 90’s to compensate for my boyish hair cut. Floral prints tend to be stuck for spring and summer only but you can make this work for fall with the right accessories. You can wear this with a pair of grey over the knee socks, boots, and a cable knit cardigan for colder weather and it still wouldn’t look out of place.

I’ve worn this outfit countless of times, and even blogged about it 2 years ago. I’m posting it again on my blog because of these awesome photos Greg Hector took of me during a break at work. He likes pit bulls, camping, fruity drinks, Volkswagen’s, anything vintage, anything in black or grey – you should stalk him on instagram:

Summertime Sandals

I can’t wait to share with you guys photos from my whole trip to Canada last weekend. In the meantime, I hope this outfit post will suffice.

My Lucrezia purse is also making its blog debut. Smartest fashion item I’ve ever bought, the size and the 2 strap-options are perfect for travelling. It fits everything without being too bulky. It’s still small-ish enough to use for night time too, so you don’t need to take different purses with you when you need to pack light. The design and shape is very simple, more classic than the Antigona, kind of like Gucci’s Boston bag, or Louis Vuitton’s SC bag but its great subtle details like the triangular panels and hardware is what makes it more special.

More posts coming soon!

I still have so many photos I haven’t posted yet, taken last April with my long hair and before I learned how to properly do my eyebrows with eyebrow pomade. Hahaha!

Super warm weather calls for light fabrics and what better way to enjoy a hot date on a hot day than shopping at Melrose with my new favorite slip dress? I got this from Nasty Gal. Their smallest sizes are usually always big on me, but for this style it works because it’s supposed to look like I just ran out of clothes and wore my nightie instead. On point right? I finished the look with black leather and gold accessories to toughen up the look a little.

I’d love to know what your go to items are for summer!

What I wore to work one sunny Wednesday in Pasadena.

Zara is my go to for basics. I have always been a huge fan of white tops paired with jeans and I love how this white crop top adds a little touch of whimsy with its ruffles.

Across the Universe

Granvileisland DSC_0016

I like packing light when I travel so I usually pack basics, like comfy sandals, versatile accessories and very light clothing that can take you from day to night. These culottes for example, if I had to change into something more appropriate for a night out, I would take the same pants, and necklace but match it with heels, a low cut halter top, gold earrings and take the strap off the same purse to make it a clutch.

This was the day I realized, I left my SD card at home. We were already in the island so walking across the bridge to go to a Best Buy or a gadget store would be too much of a hassle. We went around Granville Island looking for a memory card, we eventually found a store that sells them inside the public market. In the States, a good quality 16gb memory card costs about $9. I had to buy mine here for $30 – a 16gb micro SD card with adapter. The stingy Ilocana Chinese in me definitely does not approve.DSC_0021 DSC_0025 DSC_0023

I will talk about my trip later in another post, I can’t wait to share with all of you the rest of my photos!
